The Art of Art
Most people generally think of art as only drawings, paintings, and sculptures. Rarely do you find someone who remembers that art is any way a person can unleash their bound up creativity into something visible, audible, tangable, or tastable. I never forgot.
Growing up for me meant that every weekend my mother was going to burst loud music to get me and my two older brothers to clean. We would have lavish family functions were there would be delicious foods and joyous dancing, and it all made us feel good and welcoming. On a normal day I'd sit around playing video games, and watching cartoons with cousins. It all made me feel like life had art everywhere I was.
Now that I'm older, and have learned to perfectly mesh life experiences with art, I know that everything is art. The sweet sound of R&B music, the unique order in which mother nature works during the four seasons, the way people express themselves on a daily basis. It's all unique and specific to the situation at hand. I want to bring that into modern day cartoons. I will create shows for children who grew up like me and want more than just a quick laugh; I want culture added in again. Something that will be forever loved and remembered like the cartoons I used to watch growing up learning the art of art.
